KENSIGHT® DOVETAIL FRONT SIGHT – .077″ TRITIUM DOT W/ “PRO GLO” LUMI-GREEN OR ORANGE OUTLINE, CONTOURED PROFILE

Deep River Customs is proud to offer the new “PRO-GLO” style Front Night Sight. These highly visible fronts incorporates a self-illuminating AmeriGlo® Tritium Dot nestled within a bright lumi-green or orange fiber-optic style outline that glows brightly in low and well-lit conditions to help draw the shooter’s eye to the front post much faster than a black serrated, fiber optic or standard night sight. This is done with optimal color contrast between the front in green and rear in white. In order to ensure the strength and integrity of our sights, Kensight Wire-EDM machines them from 4140 Chrome Moly Steel.

This Front Night Sight comes equipped with a 0.118″ wide blade and a contoured base that keeps the round-top slide and the sight’s dovetail uniform, resulting in a clean looking installation that requires little (if any) filing to accomplish. Compatible with Novak type front sight dovetail cuts (0.330″ x 65 Degree x 0.075″) as typically found on both customized and factory 1911 pistols.

BLADE HEIGHTS, ITEM NO. AND REAR SIGHTS TO PAIR THEM WITH

0.160″ tall blade – Commonly used with DFS/Novak® and Kimber® FIXED sights on a standard 1911 w/ a 5″ bbl.  These rears will come with a 0.16” tall front when purchased in a sight set.  A 1911A1 with a GI sight cut will require a 0.140″ tall front.

0.200″ tall blade – Commonly used with the Kensight® BoMar®, Rollo™, LPA® and Kimber® ADJUSTABLE sights on a standard 1911 w/ a 5″ bbl.  These rears will come with a 0.200” tall front when purchased in a sight set.

0.230″ tall blade, #890-723: Commonly used with the Kensight® DAS/Novak® FULLY ADJUSTABLE sights on a standard 1911 w/ a 5″ bbl.  These rears will come with a 0.230” tall front when purchased in a sight set.

Please Note: Since Tritium has a shelf life, we don’t stock ever color, in every height and every style.  Other front heights and dovetail styles can be only purchased in this “PRO-GLO” color in quantities of 10 or more sights and will take 3-4 weeks to produce.  Please contact Deep River Customs if you would like to purchase different heights/dovetail styles.
