Mainsprings Designed For Maximum Consistency & Reliability

These mainsprings are CAD designed and built to Aerospace specifications.  Made from chrome silicon, stainless steel or chrome vanadium for maximum durability, consistency, and reliable performance.  Heat treated, shot peened, and fully stress relieved to minimize spring set.

1911 AUTO MAINSPRINGS – Stainless steel (SS) or chrome silicon (CS).  Wound in various rates, including the very popular 19 lb. and 17 lb. rates for lighter, consistent trigger pull with reliable ignition.

We offer mainsprings for 1911 and 2011 style pistols in Government (5″), Commander (4.25″), and Officers (3.5″) lengths:

• Standard wire springs (CS) designed primarily for competition use.  Wound from chrome silicon alloy.
• Stainless Steel springs (SS) designed primarily for duty/carry/ self defense.  Wound from stainless alloy providing superior corrosion resistance.

GM = Govt. Model (for 5″ and 4.25″ pistols) – use these for full size and Commander size 1911 pistols and for 2011 competition and carry pistols.
