The Deep River Customs Tungsten Tapered Sleeve Bushing is high density tungsten alloy.  Precision machined to tight tolerances with a .575″ x 40 thread.  These tungsten sleeves transform a standard barrel for use as a “bull barrel”.  Especially desirable for Open class competition pistols with compensators, as the tungsten sleeve will add extra weight to the barrel, with the weight closer to the shooter, providing better balance and helping to reduce recoil.

No other metal can compare with tungsten when it comes to heat resistance. Tungsten has the highest melting point of all metals and is therefore suitable for very high-temperature applications. It is also characterized by a uniquely low coefficient of thermal expansion and a very high level of dimensional stability. Tungsten is practically indestructible.

For use with 6″, 5″, and 4.25″ barrels.  Installation by a competent gunsmith recommended.

Tensile strength = 110,000 psi.  Hardness: Rockwell C 24
